The program vision includes diverse outreach formats depending on research activities and respective audiences. Contagion and contagents are complex global phenomena. Consequently, it is critical to establish research, educational, and training programs that create globally thinking scientists who understand the challenge of this complexity. Guided by ongoing research activities, this program aims to develop a comprehensive educational toolkit and shape mentoring programs to train future multidisciplinary leaders and scientists.

As the program blossoms, we will develop diverse formats for outreach to enter into productive dialogues with government and non-government institutions, the research community, industry representatives, and civil society. The interdisciplinary of Contagion Science requires the broadening of participation in and the shaping of a holistic understanding of research questions and challenges.
